The screen turned off after minutes of static with a little flicker the two people finally got reception but it appeared to be on the new's as the boy asked if the girl could turn the volume up, she did. The new's reporter was terrified at the story but still calm and as the boy and girl listened they were shocked as the word's of the reporter stung their throat's "Today at midnight the police found a young man crying in the wood's scared the police said he was, so then they asked him what have happened." then the new's reporter stopped talking as the audio had tuned in clearing the rest of noises but worrying " Am I safe?" the young man asked as normally everyone say's and the police responded " Yes, can you tell what happened?" the young man answered " A-alright.." as he nodded scared and skittish as if he could feel as if he had saw watching him.. stalking him he began to tell the story with a little stuttering " S-so I was....was...in my bedroom sleeping until I heard something.."
EasterRemember what you love,
you with sand in your teeth
and the feral burn of hunger
in your eyes.
God sends his regrets.
He made you grasping and slow,
in a late hour
when the wine washed low.
Remember what you love.
Fall to your knees in the toss
and the swell, quell
the appetite of the cold black sea.
Beg blessings for your home
and the salt-sick trees.
Reach what lies near:
the fat-faced child, the sweet-soft lamb;
tether the tantrum, trickle the blood.
Offer psalms to what is holy,
whisper the name of what you love
as it bobs in the bleak mad sea.
